Solution Focused Hypnotherapy focuses on solutions for the future,

rather than digging up the problems of the past. It is a combination

of a talking therapy and hypnosis.

 

This type of therapy can be extremely effective at relieving

the symptoms of anxiety and low mood as well as many other conditions.

Client commitment is crucial to making effective changes. 

 

WILL I HAVE TO TELL YOU

ABOUT MY PAINFUL PAST?

As a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, it is not necessary for me

to know about anything that may have happened to you in the past.

I will of course be respectful and understanding with any information

you wish to tell me. We will work together to restore balance to your

life and create the future you deserve. The NLP techniques I use can be done totally content free if you don't wish to tell me anything personal. 

 

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS LIKE? 

The hypnotic state is very ordinary in many ways, we all go into trance

states many times in the day, when we are reading or watching TV,

for instance. Have you ever driven somewhere and not quite been sure

how you arrived? You quite possibly entered a self-induced hypnotic

trance state. This happens when we are so engrossed in a particular action,

but we are relaxed at the same time. 

 

CAN HYPNOTHERAPY MAKE ME DO SOMETHING

I DON’T WANT TO DO? 

Hypnosis does not involve you losing control of your mind or the

therapist taking control of your mind. You cannot be hypnotised against

your will or made to do anything you do not want to do, contrary to

what we have been led to believe by popular TV or stage shows.
