Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a type of 'talking therapy',
that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis. It incorporates techniques, theory and research from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Hypnosis or 'trance' is a very natural, relaxing state encouraged
by using guided relaxation and in this state, the mind can relax
and focus on thoughts and suggestions that might be useful.
In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, therapists look at what the
client wants to achieve - the solution, rather than focusing on
the problem that they are seeking help with. Sessions are structured,

Solution Focused Brief Therapy, to help clients make positive
and lasting changes in their lives, in a relatively short period of time.
